If you die while you are eligible under this Plan and you had 10 years of continuous service, eligibility for your surviving Eligible Dependents will continue automatically, without self-payment, so long as they continue to meet the Plan’s definition of an Eligible Dependent, until the later of:

Your surviving spouse must have been married to you for at least one year before your death and you must have been covered under the Plan for at least one year before your death. You must have continuous service, immediately preceding retirement, of at least 10 years of service with Local 422, Local 81, and/or Local 383. Your surviving spouse will be covered under this Program until the earliest of the following events:
