Maintaining eligibility

Once you meet the Plan’s initial eligibility requirements, you will continue to be eligible for coverage thereafter, as long as you are working for a Contributing Employer who makes contributions to the Fund on your behalf for at least 200 hours of work in a Contribution Quarter. This benefit is described in detail in the Health and Welfare Summary Plan Description (SPD) booklet.

The information on this web site presents selected highlights of the Plumbers, Pipefitters and Service Technicians, Local 422 Benefit Funds as of January 1, 2009. The actual Plan provisions of each Plan are in the Plan’s legal document. In the event of a conflict between the wording on the site and the legal documents, the legal documents will govern.
